This latest giveaway suggests that the Pokemon Company hasn’t totally given up on Mega Evolutions, even if it’s relegated the feature to Pokemon Sun and Moon’s postgame. By scanning in special patterns, players can register Pokmon of the Alola. Take a look at how Beedrill, Audino, Mawile and Medicham change under the effects of the Mega Stone: In Pokmon Sun and Moon, a QR Scanner function allows players to see information about Pokmon when they scan QR codes.
#POKEMON SUN AND MOON MYSTERY GIFT CODE SOFT BAN UPGRADE#
For the first time, players could grant Pokemon a temporary upgrade that would give them higher attack power and a dramatically altered look. Pokémon Sun And Moon has shifted 1,905,107 copies during its opening weekend in Japan. The Mega Stone seemed like a major innovation when it was introduced in Pokemon X and Y back in 2013. Both features function similarly: They’re meant to give Pokemon a limited-time power boost during battles. The most recent Pokemon generation skipped out on adding more Mega Evolutions in favor of the Z-Move mechanic. That promotion was available exclusively in Japan, offering the items as a reward to competitive online players. The Pokemon Company previously distributed the Mega Stones for Mawile and Beedrill in February. While Munchlax was sent over using the same Mystery Gift route, trainers had to download and play through the Sun and Moon demo to receive the Ash-Greninja. The special Munchlax holding the Snorlaxium-Z and the Ash-Greninja were both distributed for the new games. Instead, players will have to rely upon the Pokemon Bank app on Nintendo 3Ds to port them over from older games. Pokmon Sun and Moon saw the distribution of two special Pokmonduring its release. None of these are new Pokemon, and they’re not actually found in Sun or Moon. These special battle items are compatible with Beedrill, Audino, Mawile and Medicham. Players need to enter the password “Intimidate” on the mystery gift screen to collect the Mega Stones. Starting now, players can grab four different Mega Stones to use in-game. A new mystery gift is available in Pokemon Sun and Moon, and it’s a lot bigger than the usual free download.
